NEW QUILTS JUST ARRIVED

Just got a new shipment of vintage sari quilts that will be in the store on Saturday, they are a great price be quick as they are all different. This is just a few of the ones that have arrived, they needed a wash so I have taken them home, this is the first batch done.

THE GLOAMING

The sunsets in Melbourne at the moment have been spectacular and my favourite time of the evening is what they call the gloaming, when I walked to my car last night the Auburn station was lit up with such a warm hue I was lucky enough to have my camera. and caught most of the colour.
The store is looking particularly lovely and it changing weekly. Today our new socks I bought on my NY trip came in, just perfect to keep your feet warm and toasty on these cold days.

INSTALLATION

Aimee and Emma have outdone themselves with the latest window display, they have spent the last month making endless pom poms and have finally finished and put it all together. It looks amazing and is worth a visit just to see what an phenomenal job they have done. Thanks so much girls! Love it!

SCARLET JONES IN AUTUMN & BLUR BAGS

Scarlet is looking beautiful at the moment thanks to Aimee and Emma putting in extra time visual merchandising the shop, at the moment Aimee has filled it with a variety of Autumn foliage which sets off the lovely stock that is in the store.
Vintage bottles that just arrived, look particularly lovely and make me want to just take them all home.
The large Fowlers pottery bread Crock is another covetable item that came in yesterday, they are getting very hard to find in such lovely condition and will not last long.

Today the wonderful bags from Blur arrived we only have two, they are just gorgeous and Blur are one of the few companies that dye the leather after making the bags. I can't believe how light they are.
